I purchased two sets of these satin sheets. The blue is a vibrant color, and after two washings is not showing any fading, pilling, or snags. The material is thicker than some other brands I have bought. We use them on a king size bed but I got the California king. Mattresses bought today are higher/taller so deep pocket sheets are needed. The elastic on the fitted bottom sheet does not pull off. My only issue is the width of the sheets are still too short to tuck in. Yes, the material is slippery, with pillows and comforter sliding easily. They are cool to the touch when first getting into bed but I think with the mattress pad and comforter it traps some heat during the night. I was a bit concerned when I purchased 2 sets of the Eddie Bauer 100%flannel full size, sheet sets because of the low price. Upon receiving them they were packaged as a present with a lovely ribbon. It includes everything I need for the bed—fitted sheet, flat sheet, and two pillow shams—and everything fit my mattress just fine without feeling overly loose or difficult to put on. The sheets washed and dried very nicely, which is always a big plus for me. They came out looking good without any noticeable issues, and I didn’t have to do anything special to care for them. These aren’t luxury sheets, and I wouldn’t describe the fabric as having an especially high-end or impressive thread count.
