This blanket is so soft! My family fights over who gets to use it. The directions say to fluff it in the dryer before using which we did, but it was pretty fluffy after we opened it. It had a slight smell but the dryer took care of that. The directions warn you that it will shed at first and it did. After about 3 shed “clean ups” it has pretty much stopped. The only thing I would change is I would have gotten a bigger size so it would easier to share! Overall, great blanket! My daughter wants me to order another one.. Stephanie. Hanover, PA. This Heavy Faux Fur Throw Blanket is indeed heavy. The front is a longer faux fur and the back is shorter. Both sides are white, not a cream, ivory or off white. I searched for a plush faux fur blanket in bright white to use as a throw on a bedding ensemble that I have in a guest bdrm. This heavy faux fur blanket coupled with the quilted comforter and flannel sheets should offer overnight guests a super warm and cozy feeling. The lighting in the pictures, despite my best efforts, does not show the blanket as a true white. I assure you, it is. I have yet to launder it, so you can see that there are still creases from the packaging. If you are looking for a substantially weighted faux fur throw, this is it.. Pam B.. Cleves, Ohio.
