Ive had this rocker for nine months and I LOVE IT!!! I have spent countless hours here with our baby, and it is incredibly comfortable. It has two pockets on either side, which I love for keeping some of his bedtime story books in. The color is a perfect light colorneutral that will go with anything. I was initially worried I might not like having something so light in case of stains. That has not been a problem at all. Stains have come out easily with a little warm water and stain remover. I also love the style and that it isnt an obnoxiously bulkylazy-boy style chair. I picked this rocker for our baby’s nursery because it looked comfortable and functional but also cute. This is a solid, and pretty glider with a gliding foot stool. The stool is completely together and you just lift it out of the box. The parts are listed and marked and the directions are in picture form. I am 76 yo and have neuropathy in my hands but I put it together by myself in about an hour. (I dropped a screw about 20 times!). There are just six screws to put the back onto the gliding seat and then arms must be attached in like manner to the seat as well. There are 2 longer screws with nuts that attach the arms to the back...the nut must be pushed up into one hole and the screw put thru another hole and screwed through the nut held up into the other hole. If you can get a helper for this step, you will be glad!! (I just didn't have anyone to call! But I am stubborn!) Tie on the back and the seat cushion and snap the arm covers over the wooden arms and presto....a great chair! Comfortable and glides easily back and forth. Absolutely quiet mechanism. I love it.. This chair was not hard to put together but it wasn’t easy either. It took two of us because the way it was constructed, one person had to hold the pieces while the other put the screws in or else the pieces wouldn’t line up right for the screws to go in all the way. Once we got them together, I really liked how they looked and fit in our space. They are comfortable however, you can definitely feel the braces underneath. I plan on getting a memory foam pad to cut to size and put under the cushion in hopes I can’t feel them as much. The image also makes it seem like you sit up more than you actually do. When leaning back against the cushion, you are semi-lying down. We needed to put a firm pillow behind our back to be in a more upright, sitting position.
