We love this vinyl carpet protector for our stairs. It looks very nice, is non-slip and confirms easily to the stairs and stays in place with a minimal number of staples. This is the best I've found to protect from my hounds. Is it really "non-slip"? Not really, but it holds on better than most under a dog that likes to roll around on my couch. If color is not crucial, this could be an excellent inexpensive way to update furniture. The green is nothing like pictured, which is soft and lovely; what I received was more like a dull gray green. But the fit was good and it stayed in place without needing any grips. Once I had it on even when I would sit on it and stand back up, it was nicely in place. The fabric is decent and the part that goes over the seat cushions has a backing to it that evidently is waterproof but for me what it did was keep that bottom place looking very tidy. It was only the color I was disappointed in. I was curious why people showing pictures did not tuck it in because it can be quite a tailored look if you take the time to tuck it all in nicely.. Al. This is a very nice cover, even nicer because it is waterproof. Its thick and quilt-like material and is sewed quite nicely. My chair is not exceptionally large but the adjustable strap that goes around it at the seat level around the back wont stretch far enough to be attached. It works fine without it, so Im not really worried about it. The arm parts, on both sides, have 2 pockets which is great! Its a bit of a pain because the 2 buttons to raise or lower the chair is covered by it. Its not a deal breaker but I wish that was taken into consideration when designing it. Seems ok but absolutely no tags anywhere on the item as to where it was made, fabric content or washing instructions. I know the website says polyester blend but I thought all items likes this are supposed to have tags identifying such items. Just seems odd.
