Imperial "Pop-Up" floor register can be used as a conventional floor register or as an air deflector when open. Perfect to blow air from under a couch or out away from the wall. Made of polystyrene plastic these registers can be easily cleaned and will never rust. These items can be used in the ceiling by simply by putting screws through the "knockout" at each end. Be sure when sizing your registers you measure the hole they are going into. These come in 2 sizes 4 x 10 hole size (5.25 x 11.25 overall) or 4 x 12 hole size (5.25 x 13.25 overall).

To measure your size correctly, remove the existing vent cover and measure the size of the duct. The duct opening size is what should be ordered. The Ribbon grille is a resin (polyurethane) decorative vent cover that is light in weight yet sturdy and strong. Grilles are unfinished and ready for you to primer and paint to achieve the perfect color for your setting. Each grille is made using a casting process that allows for a three-dimensional look. Grilles will not rust and are not prone to corrosion which makes them excellent for high-humidity areas and dry areas alike. Ribbon grilles are flat on the back and have no inserts. Grilles should not be used on the floor and are only for wall and ceiling applications for central air conditioning and heating systems. Due to the nature of the curing process, grilles can vary very slightly in size so please take the measurements as an approximate size. All grilles should be installed using the provided screws to ensure a safe application. Please note, that these grilles are intended to be primed/painted and will come in an off-white beige color.

Very nice quality; sturdier than I expected. Will be perfect for my needs HOWEVER be aware that the measurements of the item are of the grille surface NOT INCLUDING THE SOLID TRIM. In my case this was great as a larger item was even better, however if you are constricted by the space around the vent opening then you may have difficulty. Product was packaged badly - rattling around, screws loose/unbagged, with just a few air packs inside a huge box. Not protected from movement whatsoever. The CleanVent brings a hint of design to your ceiling, eliminating the cluttered look of vents protruding into a flat ceiling. The CleanVent is a magnetic, screw-less, retrofit vent cover: featuring hidden air flow tabs. It is easily repositioned when installed, which can fix the problem of improper installed, crooked or misaligned vents. The CleanVent attaches via magnets screwed into the vent box itself, pulling the vent box tight to the ceiling which can eliminate vent sweating. Easily removed for cleaning and painting. Each CleanVent is manufactured in the USA out of .040 5052-H32 aluminum, (not plastic). The CleanVent and defusing screen are powder-coated in gloss white and can be painted. The Inner air flow tabs are .040 stainless steel and can be positioned in any direction. Please note the CleanVent sizes are for inside vent measurements, the overall size of the CleanVent is 1-1/2 inches bigger on all 4 sides for the frame around the vent opening. Example a 6 x 6 vent overall size is 9 x 9, which gives plenty of room for covering up ceiling stains and crooked installed vents.
