It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. Keep in mind you may have issues with delivery as I had several times due to damaged edges, but Wayfair had solved the issue promptly and sent me replacement tiles free of charge. Vincent. I had a cracked plasterboard ceiling where it had seam tape constantly coming apart. Surface was flat, but seam tape just would not hold... So, decided to try these Polystyrene Clue up Ceiling Tile.. I prepainted them white before gluing them up.. I got my center lines and started from center out so tile would be balanced on the ceiling... The ceiling looks great... Feels like I am sleeping in an old Victorian Church since ceiling are done. I liked it so much I installed these tiles in my small bathroom ceiling... First order was sent to me wrong color and wrong pattern but wayfair got in touch with the manufacturer and the right order was quickly shipped out. I’m very happy with it. The white color is true white. It’s straight not warped, easy to install. If you have the grid system you just pop it in, if not I use glue for my laundry room ceiling because it’s easily removed in case I have another leak.
