We totally love the new hallway doors! They have replaced 1980s louver doors and make the entry now feel so contemporary and up-to-date. Yes, we relied on our local contractor to install them, as they needed to be trimmed to fit the existing height requirement. Nice quality doors and the finish looks great in person. The pivot hardware works smoothly and gives a much cleaner look than traditional bifold closet doors. Great customer service. One of the mirrors had a crack and Wayfair quickly resolved. The pivot door instructions aren’t flawless but they’re good enough. The pivot doors swing perfectly. We purchased two of these doors for our entryway closets. They look beautiful and were relatively easy to assemble as long as you have help. The left door has an issue with the hinge. Whenever you open the door, the hinge drops and the door no longer lines up with the magnetic closure. If you pull the door at the bottom, it slips back into place, but still a little frustrating. It was a bit of work for our contractor to set the hardware as the doors are are not prepped for that but we knew that from previous reviews Even with that our local building supply store wanted 3000 for a “custom” door of this design. Be ready for junky hardware but the doors are nice. Measure ahead of installation as we had to add a 12 board to the top of the closet framing to make them work. Got my own handles as only silver knobs come with the set unlike the picture they show. The mirror is the back on the interior of the door so be mindful if this is going to be heavily used.
