Holy moly that took maybe 6 hours to put together but I LOVE it!!! I’ve probably put 20 pieces of furniture from Wayfair together, and this was by far the hardest. I was nervous about the pre-drilled holes not lining up like in other reviews but mine were fine and honestly, the wood where the holes are is so thin you could easily drill your own. The only part I screwed up was step 3 with board number 5. Board 5 is smaller and the screws have unique placing so be sure to everything lines up perfectly when you get to step 5. Excellent dresser! The colors were a bit darker than the reference image (I got oak). Still gorgeous! The dresser is mostly acacia with some rubberwood. Very heavy, very durable, very high quality. Usually, dressers have an MDF back, even super expensive ones, but not this one! Solid wood, through and through. The drawers aren't huge, but they're totally usable. I also liked the full color instruction booklet! The bolts and screws come vacuum sealed on these small, flat cardboard panels, all clearly labeled, and provide far more hardware than necessary! For those who struggle with assembly: just pay close attention to the booklet. It's very clear and well-labeled. The pieces themselves are labeled too. The package arrives in a big, rectangular cardboard box that weighs about 130 lbs. Since the pieces are packed so well, there wasn't a single scratch on the entire thing! A lot of thought clearly went into it. I noticed some other reviewers complaining about the camlock hole placement and the drawer alignment. It's a skill issue. First of all, the head of the camlock pins need to be positioned correctly in the camlock holes. If the pins are too deep or too shallow in the hole, the camlock won't catch. You can easily use a screwdriver to adjust the depth of the pins, and readjust as necessary as you assemble it. Just make sure you tighten them past the friction until they stop, and no further, otherwise you'll bend the camlock or even break the wood. Certainly no power tools. Second of all, on each of the drawer rails there's a little star-shaped metal piece that you can twist to align the drawers so they don't scrape against each other or the frame.. Marco. This set is beautiful! Very solid construction and I love the metal drawer pulls. Unbelievable value. I did have an issue initially because they only sent one. There was confusion at Wayfair about this being a set, but customer service resolved the issue and sent the second dresser. One of the drawer rails did separate after being built, mainly because they are glued on, but it was a simple fix with 2 screws. The drawers are a little narrow and not meant for anything very heavy, but glide and close very nicely. We had the dressers professionally built and I would recommend that if possible.. Debra. It’s very sturdy and nice dresser. The only issue I have with this dresser is the sliding door. The little bump pieces on the back are a little too big, causing the door to not slide properly will not go all the way to the left or right without it coming off track if you move it normally.
