Third one of these that I have purchased. I found them easy to assemble, and they have a sturdy structure - love that they are solid wood (except for the backing). Have stained all with Minwax wood finish oil-based ‘Colonial Maple’ Semi-transparent interior stain. They look great ! Though the boxes had encountered some bumps and bruises, the contents within each of my shipments remained safe from harm - I would attribute that to the solid packaging. Beautiful piece! Looks even nicer in person. I paid for subcontractors off Angi's list, through Wayfair, to handle the assembly. That went well. Very nice men who were efficient and kind. They had it assembled in 2 1/2 hours and it would have taken me at least a full day. You pay extra for this and it is worth the fee. There are three areas on the piece that need to be replaced by Wayfair (contacting them tomorrow). A door that is warped and does not match up with the door next to it, a flaw in the center main door, and a door that does not soft close as it should. The soft close feature is so nice on all the other doors and drawers. The handles are beautiful and nicely made. The color of the armoire is gorgeous. This worked out better than we expected for the room because it filled the space perfectly and the dark brown color matched existing doors and blended well with the other furniture. We really liked the look of this tall rattan cabinet right away. It has a nice aesthetic and fits well with our space, and overall it wasn’t too difficult to put together compared to some other furniture we’ve assembled. The biggest challenge during assembly was getting the doors properly aligned. That part took the most time and patience, but once adjusted, it looked good and functioned as expected. The main downside for us is the drawer design. They don’t pull out very far, which makes them less practical than we hoped. Reaching items toward the back is a bit of a pain and ends up being the most frustrating part of using it day to day. I love these!! I purchased 2 for my guest room. They were easy to put together, take your time and think it through and it is a snap. I will say that the smallest screws that are provided are annoying and they did not hold well, especially putting the doors on toward the end - but I still gave it a 5 star rating - they were VERY cost effective!!.
