I recently purchased the Ophelia Solid Wood Platform Bed in the Chalk finish (King size) and I couldn’t be happier. This bed is everything I wanted and more. The chalk color is beautiful — it has that perfect weathered, driftwood look with subtle white undertones that make the natural wood grain pop without looking too gray or too brown. It blends effortlessly with both modern and farmhouse styles. The headboard has a lovely curved, traditional shape that adds character and elegance to the room. What really impressed me is the quality of the solid wood. It feels incredibly sturdy and heavy-duty. No creaking, no wobbling — even with two adults and our energetic dog jumping on it. The platform design is excellent the slats are strong and evenly spaced, so I was able to ditch the box spring entirely. Assembly was straightforward (though two people definitely help with the headboard), and everything lined up perfectly. It looks high-end but didn’t break the bank. Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. This bed frame is great and looks to be made of nice material. The directions completely miss a few steps (putting the actual headboard piece onto the support posts), so I ended up having to undo some parts and redo them. I still couldn't get the headboard fabric piece to align exactly with the side posts. Assembly took around an hour. Also, the wrench that is provided is too big for the space the bolts are supposed to go, so it was very difficult to tighten everything properly. The bed does look exactly like the photos and the materials seem durable. I don't love that the support pieces underneath the bed are unfinished cheap wood, but that's pretty common.
