Living in central Texas makes for hot nights. This bedspread is perfect for this climate. It is lightweight, yet heavy enough to keep you warm on cool nights. Being 100 cotton makes it ideal if you sleep hot. It doesn’t trap bodyheat like polyester does. I recommend washing it before putting it on the bed. It has a LOT of lintfuzz from the embroidery. My dryer lint filter was fuller than I have ever seen it after washing this thing. Washing it also flufs up the design a little more. The coverage is great, too.. Emelda. Manor, TX. Thu Mar 19 2026

After taking it out of the bag and giving it a light steam the quilt top looked quite nice. The color also was pretty true to listing’s photo. It was finally time to switch out my heavy quilt for my new lighter bedspread. I searched high and low for a split corner bedspread with longer sides and came across this one. It needed to be open to allow for the posters and legs an I wasn’t certain if the corners unbuttoned but, fortunately, they did. It’s perfect and a nice weight with a matching pillow and shams with buttons. I bought two cream throw pillows on this site and matching buttoned linen euro shams elsewhere and I think it looks great. I did wash everything before using and it all washed up great. I did find there were a lot of loose threads that I just picked off. Other than that, I’m happy.. Kristi. Cumming, IA. Sun May 10 2026

This Bedspread is absolutely gorgeous. I love the oversized feature. I love that it is light, if more cover is needed will use a blanket or quilt. It looks great on my antique bed.
