I was skeptical about ordering anything made of plastic but this is heavy weight and should hold up well. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. Very tall and nice looking post. I was shocked by the exterior shell material, I expected it to be a bit thicker but instead it was thinner plastic. The inside post was heavy duty.
