The disc can also be used as a textured seat cushion for children that have trouble sitting still. The disc allows them to wiggle and move around while staying seated. This was perfect! We've got an old but high-quality, solid wood sleeper sofa. It can't take a very thick mattress, so the cushions have always felt a little low, and you can feel the metal bar of the bed frame. Ordered this pad, trimmed it to length and inserted it under the sofa cushions. The pad tucks in and is invisible, and the sofa is at least twice as comfortable as before. It's now appropriate for napping without opening it up. :). Kathleen. Brooklyn, NY. Mon Oct 12 2026
