That is the reason for the four stars. It is well made and seems heavy duty. I like the two drawers(they are fabric). I really like the slide out key board. I think it will last a long while.. This review is for the mahogany 19.7" x 28" x 16.3" version of the product. The size of the platform is perfect for my 1 extra wide monitor. The standing height is sufficient for me (I am 5' 7" tall). The height is also just barely sufficient for my husband (who is 6' 3" tall), it would probably be a bit short for anyone who is taller than that (depending on the height of their desk off the ground to begin with).
