Phrenology Head Bust

The Fleur De Lis Living Bust is a replica of the exquisite sculpture of the maiden bust designed by English-based Italian artist Monti in 1850. This figurine is very beautiful and depicts the face of a maiden with slightly downcast eyes. She wears a garland of flowers on her head and her face is covered with a veil. The details of each of the flowers, leaves, and folds of the veil make this sculpture very unique. This Victorian sculpture was once considered the ultimate test of the skill of a young artist. Today, the replica of the famous 1850 carving has been rendered in faithful detail to increase the beauty and appeal of your home. The bust is mounted on a museum-style base made of black resin. This exquisite hand-finished sculpture has a quality designer resin construction that faithfully conveys the beauty and accuracy of the original marble sculpture. Add a touch of classical glory and taste to the decor of your home with this exquisitely designed beautiful bust. Also, you can give the Fleur De Lis Living Bust to your loved ones on special occasions.

She's basically what I expected. I look at her. She looks at me. She feels sturdy. That's good. It really just sits there. That's what it's supposed to do. I put it by a plant. Tim. Denver, CO. Fri Oct 16 2026

Though the history of the Roman empire is awash with the feats of emperors, no tales told were nearly as cruel as those of the formidable emperor Caracalla. Though history hasn't been kind to the tyrannical monarchy of his reign, this bust statue of the ruler the Romans feared is important for the history and culture it represents. Caracalla fancied himself a military genius, the reincarnation of Alexander the Great. Their impressively, life-size sculptural bust is cast in quality designer resin.

It’s not bad. I wish it were real stone but the paint job is solid.. Delawn. Sterling Heights, MI. Sun Aug 09 2020

I love it! the picture doesn't show the blue lines painted on the base though which is ok because that seems the most common type. These heads are trending a bit right now however they've always been popular among lovers of science and medicine. In other words it's a somewhat versatile accent. It also arrived days earlier than was predicted, and we always like that!. Nikki. WI. Thu Aug 31 2017

The Greek Princess Head Fragment brings a museum-gallery moment to a console or bookshelf, with a sculptural fragment that looks discovered rather than made. Crafted from composite with convincingly timeworn breaks, it’s mounted on a simple metal base for a collected, traditional feel. Style it solo as an object of interest, or group it with other accents to build an old-world vignette.

Simply stunning. Looks amazing on bookshelf, perfect scale. Not cheap but worth every penny as it's expensive looking.. Linda. Boulder, CO. Sun Sep 01 2024

It's a fascinating decorative object that adds character and depth to any interior. Whether displayed on a bookshelf or as a centerpiece on a coffee table, its presence is sure to captivate. Handcrafted with care, this piece showcases the timeless allure of prehistoric creatures, making it a perfect addition for those who appreciate art and history. The base provides stability and ease of display.

Very thoroughly packed x2! This is a rugged, solid piece. Nice detail, including the skulls internal upper pallet. Nice weight! Very good looking. I would say you could put the measurements from back of skull to tip of nose anywhere from 19.5"-19.75" This is a large skull! The only thing I would not say about it is that it is black. It has the kinda standard dino bone patina. The bottom jaw and stand are separate when you open the box. Instructions included. The bottom jaw attaches to the top by two, strong bolts(mount points assure you are solid against the top of the skull) and the stand has a nice threaded pipe that finishes the mount. If you look at the average T-Rex skull being @5 feet long then this is about a 1/3 scale replica! Probably needs a little dust/dirt clean-up when it comes out of the Styrofoam, but with a little vacuum and a moist washcloth...maybe a toothbrush, a real conversation piece! Very pleased with this work of art! It will go with my collection....as partially seen in the pic.. Tim. TX. Wed Mar 07 2018

Create vintage-inspired functional decor by storing your hats, and headbands on this Antiqued Table Top Head Form. The adjustable head form features a cotton fabric with a weighted metal base for stability. Add it to your bedroom, vanity, or guest room for sleek vintage elegance.

Aesthetically this is perfect! The head measurements are realistic, and the base is heavy so the stand is stable. However, I wanted this as a functional item, to make headpieces and wigs and hats on, and the way the head attaches to the stand is terribly wiggly, so while it would work for displaying something, using this as a “dress form” rather than a “mannequin” is tougher unless you want to rig it yourself somehow to be more stable.. Lauren. Iowa City, IA. Wed Jan 03 2024

This Greek Goddess Michellie statue is 10.25" tall, 6.25" long, and 4.5" deep approximately. She weighs about 2 pounds.
