Lovely Marble and Wood photo frame. Has a quiet elegance about it. Has a mild wave to the frame reminiscent of a salige tile. The frame has some serious weight to it too. The stand has an attached ribbon that adds stability but would have preferred a more neutral color instead of the red it came with. Alabaster has a softness other stones give up in exchange for hardness, and it shows in the way this frame handles light across its face. Veining shifts piece to piece, so the border varies from one to the next. Set it on a dresser or a desk, where stone brings a little gravity to a small photo.
