This sofa was very easy to assemble. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble, with no tools needed. I especially chose that sofa for the height from the floor to top of seat cushions. It is easier to sit on and get up if you are an older person. The color is a marbleized deep red and is very neat and attractive. This sofa is probably not one you would want if you have small children bouncing on to the couch, and would not make a comfortable piece of furniture to lay on, but for people to sit on it is very comfy. I'm not sure who loves this patio sofa more, my cats or me. It arrived well packed in a very large box. It was fairly easy to put together as besides the back pillows there are only 4 pieces, the sides, back, seat. The only issue I had was that the screws are very long and one side one took a while to screw in as it was more difficult to turn. It is very comfortable and my tripod kitty can easily get on it to sleep. He loves it. It looks very nice and seems like the fabric is strong and will hold up for quite a while. Very simple to put together. Getting the covers on the cushions was a little tricky but after doing two I figured it out quickly.To get rid of the wrinkles others have mentioned,as you are zipping the covers reach inside and adjust the cushion.Try to make sure all corners are filled. Also I bought some strips of velcro to make sure the cushions stay in place. Oh make sure you have a person help with getting the back put in. It makes it a little easier. You might need to manipulate the arms a little bit.But trust me it will fit. It looks nice and is comfortable to sit in. I like the material also, no more dog hair stuck in the couch. Kim. A really good couch. The individual sections lock into one another - unlike many shipped sofas these days. Assembly is easy and couch went together in under an hour. You basically attach the arms and back pieces via sliding pieces into one another. It's on the firmer side. Like that it's not super deep though. Height is very low, legs have it almost on the ground - so there's no storage underneath. One downside is t he material does look more like a corduroy - which wasn't clear in photos or description.
