With a super-tall 74-inch height, this gate effectively keeps cats and large dogs from jumping over, while the narrow 1.37-inch bar spacing keeps small pets from squeezing through. Designed for everyday ease, it features one-handed operation and swings open 90 degrees in either direction—and closes automatically when opened at an angle of less than 90 degrees. Installation is quick and simple, with dual mounting holes for extra stability, and it fits door frames up to 96.5 inches high. Wall protectors prevent damage to your walls, and the adjustable width (30.3–38.2 inches/30.3-47.2 inches) ensures a snug, custom fit for your doorway. This versatile pet gate is perfect for doorways, stairways, and more—keeping your pets safely contained wherever you need them.

I do love the design of this gate. It’s so tall that my kitties can’t go over, around, through, or under. I even like the way it opens to let me go through, without having to negotiate a bottom rail to trip on. It locks securely and was easily assembled and carefully packed. It’s attractive and exceptionally useful. My only concerns: My doorway was not true. It apparently is a few millimeters wider near the top than bottom, so the center doesn’t meet the same way in the top as bottom. This is not the fault of the gate, so I did not deduct a star. My other concern is that there’s a lot of plastic parts. I wish all the components were made of metal. However, since I had no problem with the metal parts during the month I’ve used it, no deducted star there, either.. Janice. Durant, OK. Thu Jun 25 2026

We used for our cats, worked great. Anita. Puyallup, WA. Wed Sep 16 2026

A metal pet gate provides a secure and flexible solution for creating safe spaces throughout your home. Designed with a pressure-mounted frame, this adjustable cat gate fits openings from 21" to 34" wide and extends in height from 75" to 98". The narrow bar spacing helps keep curious cats safely contained, while the walk-through door allows convenient access for people. Its lightweight plastic accents and locking mechanism add everyday functionality. Plus, we love that this tall pet gate helps create a comfortable environment for pets and their families.

This is likely not what many people are using this skate for, but were doing it to help socialize our wonderful new dog with my two cats, one of them is not very dog savvy. When we tried to do this with a normal baby gate, she kept trying to launch herself over it so of course, he wanted to chase her. This was the most affordable option that I could find for something floor to ceiling that would allow them to become more familiar without the potential danger that an unexpected interaction could have caused. Ive been very happy with it. The socialization is going great, and there is no way that my cat can jump over this. Its also sturdier than I expected as the pup still likes to paw at it from time to time, with no issues so far. Its very easy to open and close. This is a great affordable option!. Katherine. Northwood, NH. Tue Jul 21 2026

Our pet gate with a cat door is an extra tall solution, standing at 71 inches, fitting openings from 29.13 inches to 43 inches wide. Constructed with a durable 1.6mm galvanized steel frame that supports 220 pounds of pressure, it also boasts an easy-to-use lift-handle mechanism for convenient operation.

I love it. All the cats use it and dont go to the spare box I have in another room so I think I can get rid of it. I had to put a step in front because all but one of my cats is old or fat. It is best auto box I have ever had. Trelia. Barboursville, WV. Sat Aug 22 2026

The 71" extra-high gate can prevent cats from jumping over the gate and also prevents children from climbing over it. The space between the fences is very narrow at 1.37 inches, which prevent puppies, kittens or children to squeeze through or get their heads stuck between the fences. And this safety gate is adjustable in width, making it possible to safely divide areas where pets or babies should not enter, such as kitchens, entrances, or staircases. It can be adjusted to fit the space, making it very convenient.

This gate worked extremely well for us when we needed a way to keep our 3 huge dogs (1 is 88 lbs) away from our contractors. Stayed firmly in place without being screwed into the wall and was very secure when you lower the little lever that locks it in place.. Rachel. New Braunfels, TX. Sat Aug 29 2026

I have a large doorway that Ive been wanting to block off, but its so wide Ive struggled to find a good solution. This gate is perfect! It is sturdy, no problems with wobbling or falling. The latch system is super easy to use, and it has a latch at the top and bottom, although we usually just use the top.. Niki. Cypress, TX. Sun Aug 02 2026

Initial thought was the solid construction. Guess I expected it to be a bit flimsy or wobbly but was very impressed. 2nd impression was of the ease of putting it together & installing it. Went up quickly & smoothly. I would have liked the parts to be marked & instructions a bit clearer but visually, the parts answered any questions I had. It's a basic set up in that regard. We have multiple cats & this is working perfectly. No more zippered screen doors with Velcro periodically replaced from broken zippers. Only issue I have now is wondering why I didn't do this sooner.. Thomas. Whitewater, WI. Wed Oct 07 2026

Works well. We use it to manage indooroutdoor access on a French door. It allows air through without letting the bold raccoons in.. Nikodemus. Vancouver, WA. Sun Aug 23 2026

Keep your adventurous feline safe with our Extra Tall Cat Gate—designed to block even the most determined jumpers! Standing at an adjustable 74.8" to 96.5" height and with an adjustable 30.3" to 38.2" width, this sturdy barrier prevents agile cats from jumping over while blending seamlessly with your home decor. The durable construction ensures stability, and the easy-to-use latch allows convenient access for you. Whether you're blocking off restricted areas or creating a safe zone, this gate is the ideal choice for multi-pet households.

This was a PITA to put together but it’s doing the job and it feels pretty sturdy. I was worried my house would look like a prison cell but it actually looks better than I expected!. Shannon. Yardley, PA. Sun Sep 27 2026

This one-piece pet gate features a height that extends from 47.2" to 87" (120 cm to 221 cm). Width Adjustment: Small: 27.5" – 31.5" / Large: 27.5" – 37". It effectively prevents cats and large dogs from jumping over while maintaining ventilation. The gate height is easily adjusted via a pull-out mechanism, making installation quicker and more convenient. It is securely fixed with four support points at the top and bottom, ensuring a sturdy and wobble-free setup. The double-lock latch design eliminates worries about clever cats opening the gate. It is suitable for multiple scenarios such as balconies, passages, staircases, and doorways.

This door is exactly what we needed to have a safe space for my cats when my big dogs are around. It comes with several parts that make it very adjustable for a variety of door frames. I will say that the material isn’t super thick so probably not good for any big rowdy dogs that will jump or lunge at it because it would probably bend or break relatively easily. But aside from that it was very easy to install and was exactly what we needed!. Shelby Cajas. Santa Paula, CA. Wed Sep 23 2026

I really love this gate. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is I wish it were a little taller. My cats figured out how to jump over it (straight from the ground), so I wish it were a little taller. We added a cardboard topper as a work around.. Jordyn. New Port Richey, FL. Sat Sep 19 2026

Choose our dog fence to create a safe and comfortable space for your beloved pet. Our pet fence is sturdy and durable, provides a secure fenced area for your puppy to play, run and exercise. The collapsible fence is easy to set up and store, and can be used both indoor and outdoor. Come and give your canine companion a peaceful and safe space to rest and play!

Not sure these would work for a big dog, or that they'll hold up long term, but we now have a small fenced area outside so my small dog can run around off leash for a reasonable price, and they held strong all summer.. Carrie. Olympia, WA. Tue Sep 22 2026

Dog Door for Sliding Glass Door: Designed with your pet's comfort and convenience in mind, this doggie door for sliding glass door ensures seamless access while maintaining the interior harmony of your home. Easy to install, sturdy and the perfect size for my 2 German shepherd’s. Easy to take on and off as needed and slim enough to store in the garage without taking up tons of space. Gabrielle. Albuquerque, NM. Fri Sep 11 2026

This 2-in-1 pet safety gate features a unique detachable design. It can be used as a 74" height full-size safety gate or split into 2 independent small fences with a 36" height for each, matching multiple scenes like doorways, corridors and pet areas. The width is adjustable from 29.5"-32.3", which can fit most standard openings, more flexible than single-function gates.

I really like my new cat gate! I like it has two height adjustments, 36” and 74”. The clear feature looks nicer than having one with bars. It is sturdy and was easy to put together. I also like the lock, easy to open and close. You don’t need to make holes in the walls either!. Sherrie. Greeley, CO. Sun Aug 09 2026

Please measure before purchasing to ensure proper fit. Do not cut off zip ties before installation! I needed a gate tall enough to stop my jumping pets without damaging my walls or making daily life harder. This 61" extra tall pet gate finally solved it. My cats can’t leap over it, and the 1.37" narrow spacing keeps even kittens from squeezing through. I installed it in under using the pressure bolts—no tools or drilling needed. When my hands are full of groceries or laundry, I can still open the gate easily with one hand. The auto-close feature gives me peace of mind, while the 90° stay-open mode makes moving through the house effortless. Strong, secure, and renter-friendly, it keeps my pets safe around stairs, kitchens, and off-limit rooms every day.

SO easy to install. I only wish the door was wider.. Cinnamon. WI. Wed Jul 29 2026

Reminder: Please measure before purchasing to ensure proper fit. Important: Do not cut off the rolled strip before installation is complete! As a busy parent and pet owner, I was worried about my toddler crawling onto the stairs or my puppy darting through doorways. This pressure-mounted gate solved it all! Made of thick steel with 2-inch spacing, it securely blocks pets—tested to hold 180 lbs. The 180° two-way door opens automatically: under 90°, it swings shut; at 90°, it stays open. I can easily carry groceries and open it one-handed. The door width is adjustable, ranging from 29 to 109 inches, suitable for every different opening where you need a door sill. The double-lock keeps kids safe but lets adults open quickly. Best part? No drilling—I installed it without damaging walls.

Used this to keep my dogs out of the front seat of my motor home. Couldn’t find anything made for that, but this works fine! I love that it has a gate so I can get in the back easily.. Linda. West Haven, UT. Fri Oct 02 2026

This is great. I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the dog from the front door and a way to separate the dogs from my niece when she visits. This is perfect fix. It opens and closes easily with adult human hands, meaning the dogs or my niece can’t open it. It also has a lock, which will be great when my niece is a little older. It is permanently attached to the wall so I don’t have to fumble with a gate, and it isn’t in the way. I am quite happy with this mesh gate.. Anonymous. Sat Jul 11 2026
