I bought these stairs for my 20 lb cat who has arthritis and has pain jumping down from the bed. I originally looked at stairs made specifically for cats, but they didn’t seem sturdy enough to support him. These stairs are sturdy, well made, and have held up great. The carpet has also held up really well. My cat uses them every single time he gets off the bed. I would definitely recommend these for anyone with a larger cat (or small dog).. Jessica. USA. It was just what I was looking for, for my 4 lb yorkie! I have a 32" high bed and the top step comes right up to it! After getting a few pieces of cooked chicken out, she was trained and using it by herself in all of about 15 minutes! No tools to deal with and my husband and I had it put together in no time.
