I left one star out because of the screws for the corner seat. They're not long enough so you really got to stuff the alley key in there. Overall the couch is decent and this is a 2-3 person job due to weight. Also a different more precise manual comes in the package than what's on the website. It's very comfortable and has a movie night feel to it. The cushions sink you into the couch almost so all you need is a blanket. Wrist and fingers will hurt from all the twisting but it's worth it. Says a screwdriver is needed but it's not. The alley key is way more useful because of how the screws are shaped at the top. It's a little wide but still fits in my cottage-sized living space. There is a new couch scent so baking soda and vacuuming is a must if you can't stand it but like most new furniture it will eventually dissipate. Update after one year the reclining mechanism broke on one side so it cannot be reclined. The thin underside fabric that holds the stuffing in place has ripped on the other side. There’s not a proper way to reattach the fabric to hold the stuffing. I’ll be surprised if it lasts another year. A really great reclining sofa. The micro suede fabric is comfortable and looks nice. As a heads up for some people using micro suede for the first time, you should not use spray on deodorizer. Make sure you look up ways to clean a micro suede sofa. As other people have mentioned, the armrests are a little bit low, but not terrible. I think they’re a great position for when leaning off to the side, a little bit or even laying down across the sofa. The reclining handle is responsive and not hard to pull. The actual reclining feature is wonderful. There’s just enough resistance in the leg lift so that you don’t have to push too hard to make it go down or lift your legs up to make it go up. The center seat is also very comfortable. I have no complaints whatsoever about this sofa on day one In my photo, I have added a white and a purple PlayStation five controller for color reference. There is a slight green tint to the sofa when viewed with LED lightbulbs. But in natural sunlight, it does have a true grayish color. Overall I really like this couch. It’s super cute, spacious, and looks great in my living room. The fabric is soft and I love having the ottoman. My main complaint is that the cushions are thinner than I expected, so it’s not as plush as it looks in the pictures. Assembly was also a little frustrating because some of the pieces were really difficult to fit together, and a couple of them still don’t fit together completely. Just buy this. It’s heaven on earth. Got this so that all four of my dogs could sit on the same couch. Before, i had a reclining leather couch that my husky/GSD mix and two pugs sat with me on and my huge GSD had his own matching leather recliner, but I felt bad that he had to be separate. I absolutely love this couch! I measured it out with painter’s tape on my floor beforehand to make sure it would fit, and somehow I was STILL surprised by how freaking huge it was! Thankfully, it fits, and it’s also super comfortable. I had pretty much resigned myself to never ordering a couch online again after my last one ended up being way too firm. But after weeks of researching, I finally committed to this one, and I don’t regret it at all Also, you HAVE to fluff the pillows! I was a little worried after seeing some of the review photos where the pillows looked really flat, but they just need some attention. I literally punched and fluffed each one for about 2–3 minutes, and I swear they puffed right up! So if they look flat when you first unpack them, don’t panic. Give them a good beating first. Lastly, I saw a few reviews mentioning that some of the holes for the legs weren’t drilled. I almost feel like those reviewers may not have read the directions because the “missing holes” are actually on the end pieces. The middle section is the only piece where all four legs are screwed directly into the bottom. Once you follow the instructions and see how the pieces fit together, it makes sense. okay love how the couch came out! I had a family friend build this and it took him a couple hours alone. I would say it was relatively easy. however the pillows are flatter than i assumed, they don’t have much structure to them in terms of laying on them , but that makes sense with them acting as the “back board”. I would recommend adding some pillows to lounge on instead of these. The comfort of it is alright, still kinda stiff feeling but i’m hoping when i use it more i’ll kinda break it in.
