A broad navy border presents scrolled geometric shapes. Three separate, narrow guard borders frame the border, each carrying a geometric pattern. Heriz is a community in Northwestern Iran famed for producing extremely long lasting carpet and rugs, items that often pass down from one generation to another during many years. It is light but, muted at the same time which is exactly what I was going for on our dark hard wood floors. I wanted some light colors but not bold... it is perfect for what I was going for.
