Delighted! I received the pergola quickly! It was shipped in 4 different boxes and the packaging was awesome! No damaged pieces! Great price and fits my needs. Well, I have now assembled the pergola and did have some damaged pieces (see pictures) I don’t think these pieces were damaged in shipping… seems like they may have come that way from the manufacturer. In any event, I am still happy with the end result. Assembly would be a bit easier with some written instructions to accompany the photos but with patience we were able to figure it out. This is overall a nice purchase. We did get a defective piece that had a large cut in the pole, but Wayfair was quick to send a new one. The canopy itself is not well thought out. There’s no way you can just throw it over the top and expect it to stay. We have weaved it through the slats as well as made a few modifications that makes it more functional. Sturdy, but it doesn’t seem like the type of pergola that will last for a significant time. Pretty nice and sturdy. It comes in 7 boxes + box with screens and curtains if that’s the model purchased. I wish the assembly instructions were in box one and that the instructions told you where the hardware was, The instructions and hardware are in box 5. Make sure all parts are not damaged before starting assembly especially the key structure parts. Some of my louvers were dented but the didn’t effect my assembly. They were replaced, but it took a week to get the replacements. Wayfair and manufacturer were responsive and easy to deal with but it took time to get the replacement parts. For the Price - This thing is Great. I am really enjoying and so far, holding up steady. I live in the almost always Sunny, Southern California so it has not had to endure much weather related pressure, however it has rained twice. The wind will blow the shade off the magnets and it slides, unless you strap it down with the Provided velcro wrap. My problem is that I am too short to reach it so it would require a step ladder for me every time I want to open or close it... so I personally just leave it unstrapped, and if it blows open too far, i just push it back. also the wind blowing the shade can cause a bit of noise as the fasteners that slide the shade back and forth make a bit of a clanging. Nothing you can't get used to, as I already have. but initially it could be annoying. Since the columns are metal, you can actually hang up magnets on them for an added personal decor that isn't permanent like a sticker. The lighting strip that is built in works good, however, it is extremely dim lighting, mainly gives alil ambiance but does not light up the space fully, so I added a wrapped sting of lights from pole to pole that I already had and definitely helped.
