We are very happy with the style and design of this gazebo. It did take 4 people about 6 hours to put it together bc there are so many pieces specifically the roof, but it does seem very sturdy. I absolutely love this mosquito netting. We have high winds all the time and needed netting that was heavier than normal. We tried other brands but the netting would just whip so bad it would catch on our chairs. This still blows in the wind which they all do but has never hooked on our chairs. This brand is heavy duty like the original factory set that came with our gazebo. We have a Sojag Messina 10x12 and this netting fit like it was factory made. Our original factory lasted 5 years so only time will tell. Definitely worth the higher price point over the 40-60 sets you get elsewhere. Going to order a second set as back up as heavy duty quality netting like this is hard to find. Only drawback was that the zippers and tiebacks were brown and not black but not a deal breaker.. This gazebo turned out fantastic! The directions were pretty clear in terms of setup, and I was able to put it together with a couple friends' help over the course of about 8 hours. This is a very nice tent! Not quite as elegant as shown in the photos, but if you spend a lot of time lining up all the seams and securing the velcro ties, you can get pretty close. I got this to bring to eventsgatherings where there will be food served or not enough shade. It’s going to be perfect! I can’t wait to try it with string lights. ) The bag is about 41 lbs, but the long straps make it easy(ish) to pack around. The assembly was tricky, and the instructions were vague (at best). When laying the top over, the instructions do not tell you to loop the open hole through the pop-up arms, but you definitely have to. I decided to “trust the process”, but soon realized that was absolutely necessary. So I ended up breaking it down a bit, making the adjustments and then finished the setup. One more note (complaint) but you really do need a second set of hands to extend the tent, or else it moves in inches. Preferably someone with muscle because clicking the side posts took a lot of core strength I do not have. Also, you need to stake it or a slight wind might knock it over. I can't say much about the assembly because I had it done by someone else. I believe I could have if I had more time in my life. I can say it took about 6 hours for two guys who do this for a living. We had it bolted to the concrete patio with wedge anchors, and it appears to be very secure. We've had some pretty severe thunderstorms recently, and I'm not concerned about this thing moving. I purchased an outdoor fan that hangs nicely from the ceiling hook. Someone else said they put up some screening and used magnets to keep it in place around the part of the roof that raises up. I purchased some screen but have yet to put it to use. Now that we have this gazebo up, which we enjoy, we occasionally work outside when we work from home. Having that option is wonderful. With the help of a lovely outdoor rug and some lovely outdoor furniture, we were able to make the gazebo quite comfortable. In order to hang out there at night, we also installed lighting. We enjoy entertaining as well, and this is always a hit at get-togethers and barbecues. This is a great pergola! I love that it provides an area of shade on my back porch without blocking the sunlight coming into my house completely. The roof itself is light filtering, which is great because it’s not completely blacked out. I love the curtains and mash liner so that I can enclose it if I need to or keep it open. The installation itself was not accurate according to the instruction pamphlet. It only needed two people, but took between six and eight hours to assemble.
