The quality of this product is subpar. For spending almost 1k I would expect a little more. Metal that doesn’t crush or bend easily would be a start. The way Wayfair and Purple Leaf has handled delivered broken pieces is also incredibly frustrating. I paid for the Wayfair professional assembly and that didn’t go well, either. Great looking pergola with easy to follow instructions. Took two adults about 7 hours to build with breaks in between. We also used the recommended expansion bolts to secure it to our cement patio. The wood is very soft so it does dent and scratch easily while we were building it but it doesnt look bad at all. Love love love this chair! It’s very comfortable. It was pretty easy for me to put together by myself (I am mechanically inclined). Took about 1.5hrs.
