It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. The instructions were lacking a bit with zero written instructions, only diagrams that occasionally missed the mark. It's sturdy and took 3 adults 3 1/2 hours to assemble, partly because it was a hot day. You'll need a ladder to complete assembly, but everything fits together well. We like the adjustable canvas that allows us to adjust for the changes of the sun throughout the day. It's a great purchase for the price-point. I highly recommend this simple, functional, piece.. The roof was flimsy and noisy whenever there was a breeze, and if you forgot to close it tight before a rain, the weight of the water was going to tear it . It actually wasn’t 10x10 as advertised, maybe 9x9, and the sun came under the east & west sides, no you were seldom shielded from the sun. So I tried Wayfair after noticing my neighbor’s, got the same one only I ordered the pulldown screens for 2 sides. It also has a louvered metal roof ( huge improvement), we love it! At first, I was concerned about assembly because there are so many pieces, but I was actually able to put it together myself with the exception of help to stand it up and extra hands to put on the roof sheets. I put together these and they work great. I got the base kit plus the extender. Only reason they got four stars instead of five is because while they came with bolts, I was eight short and had to run to the hardware store to get more carriage bolts, and of course I could not find them in black so they don't match..
