If your desired width is between our 4' increments of sizes, you may need to order a larger size and trim down as needed. A decorative ledger board is provided to color-match the eyebrow pergola. Step-by-step instructions make installation easy. Kit includes all hardware/fasteners for the eyebrow pergola construction except for fasteners going into your actual structure (structural fasteners). Structural fasteners vary based on your structure's material. If you are unsure of the structural elements behind the attachment point, it is recommended you purchase and fasten in a 2x10 treated wood ledger board and then use our provided decorative ledger board over top.

I couldn’t be happier with this pergola and shutter wall system. The quality of the aluminum is excellent, everything feels solid, and once it’s anchored to concrete, the structure is extremely sturdy. I installed the pergola and fixed shutter wall myself, and while it takes time and patience, the instructions were clear and all of the parts fit together well. The shutter wall adds a lot of privacy without making the space feel closed in, and it gives the pergola a clean, modern look. The charcoal finish looks even better in person than it does in the pictures, and the louvers operate smoothly. It has completely transformed my backyard and looks like a professionally installed outdoor living space. One year ago I bought a cheaper pergola from another company; it had the nylon roof you pull back with a cord, no side screens available. The roof was flimsy and noisy whenever there was a breeze, and if you forgot to close it tight before a rain, the weight of the water was going to tear it . It is very nice and more sturdy that I thought it would be. We didn’t bolt it to the deck because we didn’t want to drill into Trex. But we did bolt it to the house which worked good. The instructions are a little confusing in some parts because the pictures are tiny. And after I sliced my finger pretty good on the metal roof, I understood why they give you gloves. Razor sharp. During the day, you can close the louvers to enjoy sun shade; In the evening you can also use the strips light while you relax in your favorite chair! If the weather changes and it starts to rain simply close the louver shut and continue to enjoy your outdoor living area with friends and family.

I recently had siding put on my home. My contractor sort of refused to put my old awnings back on the house - rightfully so - would have been awful! So, I started searching for suitable choices. Many were negated because they wouldn't have mounted to the siding correctly. Then I found this (and a larger one for my front door but got that one elsewhere as Wayfair didn't have that size) and realized that a mounting kit could be purchased for vinyl siding! Hooray! It's gorgeous - so minimalistic and really matches the house. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know how well it will shield but at least it looks pretty. It's been years since we installed this and it still looks good. The "glass" has held up, even through some tough weather this year. It's a bit of a pain to clean, but that's mainly because it's over a landing for the front door that's raised, so getting to the sides is awkward.
