Much firmer, which at first I was not sure about, it provides a great, comfortable support for my stomach and side sleeping. Rolling around won’t wake your partner because the motion doesn’t carry. The edges are comfortable with just the right amount of additional firmness to keep you from rolling off. One of my favorite features is that the top material helps to keep me sleeping cool. It is thick, but fits my sheets with no problems. I also did not have any issues at all with off gassing smells coming from the new mattress. It is just fresh and nice. Bought this for the primary bedroom. It is a little higher than I expected with my bed frame, but not so much that I need a ladder or step stool to get in bed. I wanted a mattress that was somewhat firm but had a pillow top. I found this. So far, and it has been a month, I love it. Nothing aches when I get up in the morning. So far, I’m in love! Just unboxed and letting take more shape for the day before we sleep on it tonight but, wow! Our last mattress was a Puffy, all foam, and plush. It was wayyyy too soft for us and was killing our backs. So I took a chance on this after reading the reviews and getting in for the sale. Best decision ever! I’m not exaggerating. It’s not even fully formed yet but I know it’s going to be a massive improvement and just what we needed for better back support.
