This is a great percolator. It brews a full pot in 10 minutes and according to my meat thermometer the coffee is about 150 degrees which is perfect for us. I am still developing the muscle memory needed to replace the percolator onto the hot plate but not a big deal. Of all the percolator we've owned this is the best brand. Giving 4 stars because of the way it was packed. Serious punctures to the Farberware factory box packed only in a thin plastic bag that also looked like it had been damaged and taped up. Coffee pot not damaged but sure could have been.
