Packaging had components loose but no damage upon opening. Build construction seems sturdy however install doesnt use standard light bar for initial hanging and so expect extra hands. Overall if the styling is what you are looking for it performs fine. I would suggest investing in a decorative Edison bulb for looks. Aesthetically it’s a nice touch of a more contemporary design with clean lines. Sizing isn’t too large for the entryway area we installed it. Because of 8 ft ceiling height we could not use the full length without hitting our heads (something to keep in mind if you’re looking to have it hang lower than depicted here.. Vanessa. This pendant is gorgeous! It was easy to assemble and has several rods for you to adjust the length. It took one person under 20 minutes to assemble, hanging is a different story. I have a large pantry with a window, it has to sit high enough up that we don’t hit our heads with our 9’ ceilings. The wood is faux, made of some kind of metal. It takes standard sized chandelier bulbs. It lets off a lot of light, so I love that it is dimmable.
