Nice desk. Went with grey color and like it. Very heavy box and material. Material feels like it is made from that plastic that picnic or school tables are made with. Wood grain look is nicerealistic. I don’t think it will scratch easily. Because there are two configuration options it is quite confusing, mainly the drawer part, but holes lined up just fine. I love that the top lifts to a standing desk when needed. My husband assembled it on his own and knocked it out pretty quickly. He’s an angel. I would not have enjoyed the process, but he found it very easy. Wayfair shipped it quickly. The only major annoyance is that they used FedEx and my FedEx driver is too lazy to take it out of the truck to deliver it. My Ring camera caught him on two consecutive days coming to my door to take a picture of my empty porch. He didn’t knock or ring and I got notified that delivery was attempted but no one was home. This is a beautiful desk. Looks just as good as it does in the picture. The chairs in my photo are also from Wayfair. I recommend paying the money to assemble. It took the two-person crew three hours. But it looks perfect. However, long after the assembly crew left, I realized the light on the front of the desk does not work. Beautiful desk! I chose to pay the assembly fee which resulted in three handmen working for two hours straight to assemble the desk. While the instructions did not appear to be confusing or difficult, there were a lot of tiny parts so it was time-consuming. My only recommendation to the designer is to make the hole for the power cord slightly larger as it is impossible to run a cord through the back of the desk once it has been assembled.. Morgan. I absolutely love this desk! It is even more beautiful in person than I expected. The quality is excellent — very sturdy, well-built, and clearly designed to last. The drawers are spacious and glide smoothly, giving me plenty of room to organize everything without clutter. I initially planned to purchase a cabinet for all the extra supplies and paperwork I had but everything bits so nicely in this desk and on the shelves enabling me to keep everything close and eliminating the need for an additional cabinet. It honestly feels like a high-end piece of furniture. Now that I see the craftsmanship and quality, I completely understand why it was on backorder.
