Easy to work with, process is a bit tedious and time Consuming due to prep work and finishing details. We chose to attach to the wall using a brad nailer instead of glue to avoid wall damage if neededwant to remove in the future. So we had to caulk the seams as well as the nail holes, then sand, and we finishes it with two coats of our wall color in a glossier finish. This was definitely worth the wait! This wainscoting was so easy to install, it and was the perfect accent piece for this end wall. I love that it did not need to be nailed onto the wall, so filling nail holes and repainting was not needed. We used a common construction adhesive. These are great for a low budget project. Used them to redo a closet that the former owners had abused instead of spackling and paint. The one word of caution is once it’s on there, it’s there! Very impressed! These shiplap panels are great quality, real wood. Super easy to install, but I will caution, make sure it’s where you want it because the adhesive strips are no joke. I was thinking I maybe needed to reinforce with nails, but when I ripped the coating off the Sheetrock, I figured it was fine. lol they look amazing and I like that they are thinner than traditional shiplap. Many reasons made them disappointing. 1) They are hard to cut. 2) The bubbles are so deep that I have big gapping holes where the outlet and vent are. 3) It says you can get deep pieces for the outlet covers, but the spaces vary from 0 to 6”, so a box doesn’t help. 4) It says ready to paint or stain, but with what kind of paint we can not figure out. We even brought them to a paint store and they basically laughed at me when I said they were paintable. They sugggested a $30 quart bond to be painted on first, then a paint over that. I love the wall molding but was not easy or at least the way I installed was not easy so I gave it 4 stars. I glued them together first and then painted them the color of my wall. The next day I installed them. The larger piece came apart so the glue did not work so I nailed them to the wall. This was a creative project for us. It's not finished yet, but I wanted to show what I have so far. We are going to caulk the inside and then paint the same color as the wall.
