I’ve already gotten compliments on these panels. They add a much needed accent to a wall that was way too bare. They also are not overwhelming to the space but do add an illusion of height. I dropped one star for assembly issues. I started with liquid nails but no matter how long I held them, they slipped out of place when I let go. This texture wallpaper is quite lovely. Heavyweight but not heavy, has a foil backing to peel off and stick to the wall which was very easy to do. A bit hard to see on my white wall but it’s very nice to give added interest I’m thinking it could help with sound and insulation I’m also thinking of other ways to use so I can purchase more for other projects. I was so excited about these, but they are not the reality I was hoping for. Many reasons made them disappointing. 1) They are hard to cut. 2) The bubbles are so deep that I have big gapping holes where the outlet and vent are. 3) It says you can get deep pieces for the outlet covers, but the spaces vary from 0 to 6”, so a box doesn’t help. 4) It says ready to paint or stain, but with what kind of paint we can not figure out. We even brought them to a paint store and they basically laughed at me when I said they were paintable. They sugggested a $30 quart bond to be painted on first, then a paint over that.
