Have had this about a year now. It made it through Texas's last, brutal summer in fine shape. I closed it up and stacked it in a corner outside for the winter, and it made it through that, too. I have every expectation it'll make it through this summer just fine. It's sturdy. I especially like that air can pass through it. Love this umbrella. It’s much bigger than I expected when it’s open. The only thing is that it doesn’t have a cover so I’m worried it might get moldy andor dirty because I got a light color. But if you cover it then the the solar lights wouldn’t be getting a charge.
