I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in. I feel like it’s a really durable and high quality as well, and it will last awhile because it’s not real rattan, but feels like a stronger material. My only con is that the tie at the top of the seat rest isn’t centered on mine like shown on the model photo, which is why I didn’t rate a full 5 stars. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for! Screws to attach the legs are so long they start stretching through the fabric. If you continue to tighten to stabilize the legs the fabric "pouches" out. Assembly not bad but a little tricky for 1 person. The so-called velvet for the bottom is NOT velvet and is extremely skimpy to the extent it barely covers. The print is extremely faint unlike the picture on-line.
