This chair was not hard to put together but it wasn’t easy either. It took two of us because the way it was constructed, one person had to hold the pieces while the other put the screws in or else the pieces wouldn’t line up right for the screws to go in all the way. Once we got them together, I really liked how they looked and fit in our space. They are comfortable however, you can definitely feel the braces underneath. I plan on getting a memory foam pad to cut to size and put under the cushion in hopes I can’t feel them as much. The image also makes it seem like you sit up more than you actually do. When leaning back against the cushion, you are semi-lying down. We needed to put a firm pillow behind our back to be in a more upright, sitting position. Its exactly what we wanted. I love the safari pattern we chose. It had a few spots, like splinters on the frame, and the cushion had some strings hanging. Over all its just normal for this kind of chair. I like that its a double also. Great for naps or just wating t.v. made my small room, fun to hang out in. One of the small inner bars already cracked, but easily fixable, and I got a 5 year warranty. Also I read this could happen in the review. You need to be careful how you distribute your weight while adjusting, but all paupasan chairs are like this, its a wooden bowl chair. Its so fun, and makes me feel nostalgic for the 90s.
