Enhance your bathroom ventilation with the EZ053-110, a 12-inch square exhaust fan designed to efficiently remove moisture and improve air quality in enclosed spaces. Featuring a powerful yet quiet AC motor with a 110 CFM airflow capacity at just 1.5 sones, this unit ensures optimal ventilation with minimal noise. Its modern design and durable construction make it a perfect fit for residential and light commercial applications.

It arrived safely and without any issues. It is a medium-sized extraction fan; it does not include any lighting. I hooked it up, and—compared to others—it is quite quiet. You can hear it, of course, but the sound is not loud. It is quite powerful, and the metal base looks sturdy; however, it does not include the hose for venting moisture outdoors.. Jess. FL. This is so quiet but also efficient. It really works you hardly hear it.. Gmm. West Palm Beach. Sun Apr 05 2026

Unlike traditional fixed-speed fans, this bathroom fan self-adjusts its speed to maintain consistent airflow against duct bends, dust buildup, or increased static pressure, ensuring stable and reliable ventilation over time. Based on humidity levels, the fan auto-switches between three speed modes - a quiet 30 CFM at under 50% humidity, 110 CFM above 50%, and a powerful 160 CFM at 80% or higher to quickly clear steam and odors. Simply expand the four brackets to snap the eight latches into the frame, using the provided template for accurate placement.

This bathroom fan is sleek, quiet, and easy to install. I highly recommend it!. Shawn. Oakdale, PA. Tue Sep 22 2026

The Panasonic Whisper Ceiling 290 CFM Energy Star Bathroom Fan is the perfect exhaust fan for keeping moisture build up at bay. The traditional exhaust fan incorporates a powerful motor with airflow capacity of 290 CFM. Being energy star compliant, this dynamic motor consumes low power than conventional exhaust fans. It is encased in a durable galvanized steel enclosure that is sure to last for years. The Whisper Ceiling 290 CFM Energy Star Bathroom Fan by Panasonic produces 2 Sones noise. A cool outer grill ensures the fan complements virtually any type of bathroom decor. This box shaped unit is ideal for bathrooms that measure 3000 cubic feet.

it is strong and quiet fan. I installed this in 3 bathroom. all works well.. Sewon. Beaverton, OR. Wed Apr 08 2020

This product features a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel to quietly move air. A small wheel turning very fast will create more noise than a large wheel turning more slowly for a given airflow. This Whisper-ceiling bathroom fan uses a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The blower wheel is also designed to draw air in from both sides, which helps keep the noise down, as there is more area for the air to enter the wheel. In fact, it is quiet enough that you might not even know it's on.

We love it. It moves so much air.. Britney. Longwood, FL. Sun Jun 28 2020

3rd times a charm! Finally made the right choice buying Panasonic after 2 other fans being installed. This fan does exactly what it’s expected to do. Only negative in my opinion is there is a delay in the fan working when it’s turned on. Not a big deal but I’d like it to turn on when I flick the switch.. Lisa. Valley Stream, NY. Tue Jun 02 2020

Caveat: I haven't installed it yet. But it arrived on time, in the expected condition, the packaging was protective, the instructions are clear (they're for a couple different models, so you have to pay attention to what model you're actually working with). I like the options of the different speeds and the night light, though I'd rather it were an actually adjustable speed fan (I'd pay more for that feature). I also don't like that the light is round but the housing is square... perhaps ideal for retrofit but I'm gutting the entire room and would prefer a sleeker look (it just doesn't seem to exist with the options I want). I am a little disappointed with the plastic-y look of the fixture itself though, and this is the real reason for the missing star. The visible portion of the housing is actually made of plastic, as advertised, not coated metal or anything... I guess that's good for rust-proofing, but... it just looks much cheaper than I'd rather. I'm hoping it will look better in a finished ceiling than it did during my receipt-inspection of it. I left the protective film on the light fixture in my photos, that will obviously look better once installed. I'll hopefully be able to update this review with additional photos and comments at that time. Post installation update: I like the nightlight feature, the fan is super quiet (it's hard to hear if it's turned on until it gets going even), but it's a very *yellow* light. I guess it does say 3000K is the color, but... honestly it looks more like 2500K lights than that. The paint on the ceiling is Sherman Williams High Reflective White (the highest LRV / "whitest" white paint they sell). So we will likely just use the nightlight and fan features, and rely on the other lights in the bathroom for actual light.. E.w.. PA. Tue Jan 04 2022

I wanted to replace the cover on an old shower fan I had in this definitely fit. It looks nice. I didn’t use the rest of the fan.. Joanne. Northville, MI. Sun Jul 05 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really happy with this fan install. The fan with the light is a must have. What a modern looking fan with crisp, clean, sleek design. I was surprised to see Kohler had included so much in the kit; the even included a piece of pine for bracing as well as a paper pattern to help make installation a breeze. It's a heavy duty fan compared to other bath fans. Each speed is pretty quiet, starting at .4 sones depending on your air duct size. Most people can barely hear that level. I got this as a promotion for my honest opinion but going forward I will look at Kohler products and consider because I got to see how well made this one is. You get what you pay for - "buy it nice or buy it twice!" Not sure I will ever need to use the high setting, medium seems to work wonderfully.. Reallycarrieb_3147. Wed Jan 14 2026

This is a great quality light and fan but it’s much larger than I need it to be. My bathroom is very small, slightly larger than a powder room, so this won’t work for me. This fan would suit a bathroom with much more space very well.. Quinarra. Chicago, IL. Sun Aug 16 2026
