Panasonic Exhaust Fans Installation Kit

NuTone® interlocked make-up air dampers provide outside air when required to keep the air in the home fresher by allowing the range hood to operate at optimum levels. Slave dampers (MD6S, MD8S, and MD10S) are interlocked to the main automatic or universal make-up air damper and open in unison for synchronized operation. They close, along with the main damper, as soon as the range hood is powered off. Slave dampers can be ganged together to provide a cost-effective means to provide for higher volumes of make-up air.

Introducing our innovative Flush Ceiling Range Hood, the Victory Sunset. Meticulously designed to seamlessly integrate into your open-concept kitchens while delivering unparalleled performance and aesthetic elegance. Made in Canada with precision engineering, this range hood redefines the standards of modern kitchen ventilation. With its sleek, minimalist design and matte white finish, the Victory Sunset effortlessly blends into any contemporary kitchen space by installing between ceiling joists so no reframing is necessary. Its powerful 600 CFM blower provides unobtrusive yet powerful ventilation and the bright warm LEDs provide great lighting over your cooktop.

I am very happy with this hood. The quality of build seems solid, installation instructions were very clear, and it I think it looks great. It takes some planning and work to get it installed. You have to make sure your ceiling joists and ductwork is going the right direction or be prepared to do some modifications. I have a soffit and had to take down a bunch of drywall to modify the framing, run the 14/3 romex for the light/fan and modify the ducting. Then I replaced the drywall, taped, texture, paint and installed the hood. Fortunately it all came together nicely. I was able to held the hood in place while my wife drive the screws into the framing. I think it will be worth it in the end because the hood won’t be blocking the view in front of our cooktop.. The Panasonic WhisperGreen Select FV-0511VKS3S pairs Panasonic's quiet dual-speed ventilation with a designer architectural grille that looks at home in modern bathrooms. The fan holds a low continuous speed for fresh air and boosts to a higher speed on demand, with airflow adjustable from 30 to 110 CFM, and its ENERGY STAR certified DC motor delivers rated airflow at 0.5-in. static pressure. Add-on module slots for Wi-Fi, motion, and condensation sensing let you customize control, and the Flex-Z Fast bracket makes installation simple, even from below the ceiling.

The Panasonic WhisperWarm DC FV-0511VHL1 brings heat, ventilation, and lighting together in one unit for a warmer, brighter, more comfortable bathroom. Its 1600W PTC heater and diffuser grille warm the room quickly and evenly, the Pick-A-Flow selector sets exhaust airflow at 50, 80, or 110 CFM, and a 10W dimmable LED panel with a night light under 1W provides efficient illumination. SmartFlow technology maintains rated airflow, and the Flex-Z Fast bracket allows easy installation in 2 x 8 construction or larger.

This product features a totally enclosed condenser motor and a large, double suction blower wheel to quietly move air. A small wheel turning very fast will create more noise than a large wheel turning more slowly for a given airflow. This Whisper-ceiling bathroom fan uses a wide blower wheel that moves a large amount of air at reduced RPMs. The blower wheel is also designed to draw air in from both sides, which helps keep the noise down, as there is more area for the air to enter the wheel. In fact, it is quiet enough that you might not even know it's on.

We love it. It moves so much air.. Britney. Longwood, FL. Sat Jun 27 2020

10-inch, 6-inch, and 8-inch round, universal make-up air damper kit for use with any Zephyr range hood motor operating over 300 CFM and up to 1,200 CFM, 600 CFM, and 1,000 CFM. When range hoods exhaust air out of your home, negative air pressure is created unless fresh outdoor air replaces the exhausted air. Zephyr’s make-up air damper is designed to balance the air pressure in your home by automatically opening it to allow fresh air while the range hood is operating.

Having our contractor place this over the weekend but so far he says it fits and will work. Will update after with photos. Muhamet. Sun Aug 16 2026

Powerful draw with quiet fan. My bathroom mirror does not fog up after a shower. Very pleased with this fan. . David. Denver, CO. Mon Jul 27 2020

This humidity sensing exhaust bath fan, energy star offers easy, room-side installation, with “No Attic Access Required”. Ceiling mounted ventilation fan features foldable mounting ears and EZ Duct connector for easy installation. New duct damper technology provides a tighter seal, resulting in reduced warm and cold air backdrafts. The humidity sensing feature will automatically turn the fan on when a preset level has been reached, thus allowing for proper ventilation throughout the room.

This is a nice fan!!! The description is not accurate, it has no light. It was not a surprise for me because I got a description from the Broan site using the fan's code AE50110DCS. I had AE50110DC and wanted to replace it with an automatic fan that turns on automatically when humidity is high and works for a specific period of time (it has a timer, a duration is up to 60 min). The fan allows the user to select a speed 50, 80 or 110 CFM. My previous fan (AE50110DC) had a permanent speed of 110. AE50110DCS at 110 makes the same level of noise as AE50110DC at 110. AE50110DCS at 80 is a little bit quieter, just a little bit. Therefore, I selected the speed 50 CFM which is really quiet for me. I set a humidity selector at 70% and a timer at 60 min. I know that for a 4PC bathroom the speed of 50 CFM is not enough but I keep a door to the bathroom open all the time and the fan will run for 60 minutes, then check humidity again and start a new 60-min cycle if humidity is above 70%. I guess it should be enough, time will show. I had a choice to buy a bigger Panasonic fan which is as quiet at 110 CFM as this fan at 50 CFM, but decided to use a fan with the same dimensions as my old one. In spite of the fact that this fan turns on automatically you may turn it on manually if necessary - turn a switch on, then off and on again.. Alexander. Kitchener, ON. Mon Nov 06 2023

Caveat: I haven't installed it yet. But it arrived on time, in the expected condition, the packaging was protective, the instructions are clear (they're for a couple different models, so you have to pay attention to what model you're actually working with). I like the options of the different speeds and the night light, though I'd rather it were an actually adjustable speed fan (I'd pay more for that feature). I also don't like that the light is round but the housing is square... perhaps ideal for retrofit but I'm gutting the entire room and would prefer a sleeker look (it just doesn't seem to exist with the options I want). I am a little disappointed with the plastic-y look of the fixture itself though, and this is the real reason for the missing star. The visible portion of the housing is actually made of plastic, as advertised, not coated metal or anything... I guess that's good for rust-proofing, but... it just looks much cheaper than I'd rather. I'm hoping it will look better in a finished ceiling than it did during my receipt-inspection of it. I left the protective film on the light fixture in my photos, that will obviously look better once installed. I'll hopefully be able to update this review with additional photos and comments at that time. Post installation update: I like the nightlight feature, the fan is super quiet (it's hard to hear if it's turned on until it gets going even), but it's a very *yellow* light. I guess it does say 3000K is the color, but... honestly it looks more like 2500K lights than that. The paint on the ceiling is Sherman Williams High Reflective White (the highest LRV / "whitest" white paint they sell). So we will likely just use the nightlight and fan features, and rely on the other lights in the bathroom for actual light.. E.w.. PA. Tue Jan 04 2022

The Panasonic WhisperFit DC FV-0511VFBL1 turns an everyday bath fan into an all-in-one upgrade with quiet ventilation, dimmable LED lighting, and dual built-in Bluetooth speakers. QuikConnect technology pairs up to two iOS or Android devices for easy music streaming, while the Pick-A-Flow selector sets airflow at 50, 80, or 110 CFM. The 10W warm white LED panel and night light under 1W, the ENERGY STAR certified DC motor, and a low-profile 5-5/8-in. housing that fits 2 x 6 joists or larger make it a good fit for both remodels and new construction.

3rd times a charm! Finally made the right choice buying Panasonic after 2 other fans being installed. This fan does exactly what it’s expected to do. Only negative in my opinion is there is a delay in the fan working when it’s turned on. Not a big deal but I’d like it to turn on when I flick the switch.. Lisa. Valley Stream, NY. Tue Jun 02 2020
