The back panels of the seat cushion and backrest are made of walnut wood, with natural wood grain like flowing water waves, injecting a retro temperature into the cold and modern feel. The cushion is filled with high rebound sponge inside, which can evenly distribute pressure on the buttocks, even after eating for a long time without feeling tired. I ordered 10 of them for my poker table and they get positive feedback after the first game. Assembly is a little tedious but not horrible. They look great and are pretty comfortable. A little more variation in the wood across a few of the chairs and could use a little more padding if you are going to sit in them for a long time but overall nice chair for the price.. Kevin.
