Overall impression of cover materials and chair assembly was good. Only one part was difficult to assemble - the Step 4 needs two people to put it together. This chair has no height adjustable system. Chair reclining position need to be set manualy and by screw which need to tighten after seting reclining angle. We searched for recliners like this for a long time after previously having something similar. They are very comfortable, elegant (as recliners go), and really affordable. It reclines to a point that you could easily fall asleep in it (and the reclining mechanism works well). My reason for 4 stars instead of 5... the stool. The stool's base is to small. As you rotate a bit in the chair and your feet move from the center of the stool, the stool becomes out of balanced and can tip. The chair and ottoman are and look very nice. It only took 3 days for delivery, which was nice. It was fairly easy to put together, took about 30-40 minutes. The color is more almond/cream in color than the advertised ivory. The chair sits much lower to the floor than I thought it would. Much lower than our previous recliner chair - so be aware. When I purchased this chair and ottoman it was on sale, a very good price for this product. After receiving the chair and ottoman, I now wish I had purchased two.
