I was (finally!) authorized to replace some child worn furnishings and these chairs were one of my first buys. The seat is a little firm and the accompanying pillows too smallsoft, but I have some 22” pillows from my old couch that work perfectly and make the chairs very, very comfy. Pretty comfy. Easy to put together once I figured out their instructions. Their instructions were terrible and photos didn’t help. But once you figure it out, pretty easy. I purchased 2 for my small living room. They’re lower than a normal chair, but sit pretty comfortably. Not sure how long the cushions will last. The chair itself I like, it’s sturdy and make of heavy real wood. The chair is pretty comfortable though the quality of the cushions I don’t believe would hold up to long term use. This is in our basement so I think it will be fine for here and there. Why 4 stars The assembly was terrible. The instructions were not clear. They need to provide different Allen wrench, lucky got me my husband had a tool that helped or I was so frustrated. So get yourself the auto retract took or this will take forever to assemble due to the way the holes are set. Also note there should be another step they combined two and it was confusing to the point I had to take part off and redo. It does sit lower for a living room chair too so note that. The seat cushion is supportive without being overly firm, the back provides great support, and the angled arms are comfortable whether you’re reading, visiting with friends, or just relaxing for a while. I’ve found myself choosing this chair over the couch more than once. Delivery did take longer than expected, so if you’re ordering it, plan to be patient. That said, it was worth the wait. I was pleasantly surprised how nice the chairs are. I expected them to be nice for the price but sometimes you just don’t know until you get them. It didn’t take long to put them together. I’m very happy with the chair. One “con” that I found was the instructions and holes for screws were 6 but kit only had 4 screws.
