This panel wood headboard by August Grove is a nice simple frame. The headboard has a classic modern look to it which can be combined with other furniture and look great. It was extremely easy to put the headboard together and the wooden frame is sturdy. Additionally, the frame is made to be attached to the wall. It comes with two small slide-in square plates and wall brackets that you attach to the bed frame. This makes it versatile by not having to screw the headboard into a bed frame. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. Bought two of these headboards (Queen) for a guesthouse. Love the design and look great. Easy to assemble. The frame is very sturdy.
