There was an internal part that was broken. Ensure if purchasing this item, remove all adapters etc to inspect every available part. The water inlet piece was broken but not discovered until it was installed and found to leak as there was an adapter on it that we had no reason to remove until it leaked. Wayfairs warranty period was already expired but the manufacturer stayed in contact with us and sent out a replacement heater resolving our issue. Looking forward to many months of swimming! Nice pool but the liner that comes with it is a thinner gauge liner. We had a pretty hard time getting the liner to even fit up over the walls of the pool. Came without o ring/ gaskets and will take almost 2weeks to get replacements…meanwhile our pool sits without working pump but no one seems to care about that this is a major problem. I asked for info on how to return without original box and was told they would email it ( have not recieved this info) I have done a lot of purchasing from Wayfair..I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the service. This is an amazing vacuum for the price. I have a intex pool and a pine tree above it so it gets a lot of needles that sink to the bottom of the pool. Very sturdy but the directions were not very clear. Just so you know you will have to have a drill to put in some screws.
