Inspired by pure thickness. Maybe we've lost our minds here at coma inducer or maybe we've always had a couple of screws loose??? But we've become obsessed with thick. Seriously though, who likes a weak comforter? Does anyone enjoy getting a comforter vacuum smushed in a box that looks like a flat sheet and comes with instructions to shake it out and wait 4 days? And, after those 4 days are up, it's still so thin you wonder if you were sent a flat sheet. The thought of such a comforter makes us sick! Sure, it's harder to create, produce, and ship such impossibly huge comforters that are "thicker than thick"... But isn't that the whole point? With the number of hours, we sleep (or should sleep) each night, it should be a crime to have a flat sheet-like comforter. Our thicker-than-thick coma inducer consists of 800 gsm of thick, pure goodness. Overly thick filling combined with cozy soft plush creates a deep sleep experience like no other. It was more than expected (with a couple small issues). The dark green color is bold and looks exactly like the color presented online. The velvet side is soft, smooth to the touch and very comfortable. The other side is soft as well. However, I sleep with the velvet side showing on the bed, because it just looks nicer than the reverse side. Two minor cons is that it is a little on the smaller side. I ordered a king for my king size bed and it fits, but I like my comforters to hang much lower thank this one. This could use more material by a few square inches. I measured it against my old king size comforter and this one is smaller than my previous comforter by about 4 inches. The other con is that it looks fluffier and thicker in the picture than what it actually is - it's thinner than the picture. At Coma Inducer, we've been known for having oversized plush comforters. We've broken the barriers on softness levels, size levels (160" x 160"!), and now thickness levels!! Dam Boi, the thick is not just a thick comforter; it's a bedding experience unlike anything you've ever seen, felt, or imagined. Touting a 1400 gsm fill rate doesn't just break our record; it shatters it!! To give you some perspective, the typical coma inducer has a 280 gsm fill rate, and most, if not all, other coma inducers are under 400 gsm. So when we add an extra 1000 gsm in fill weight, you know this is a thick boi. What makes this coma inducer even more impressive is that we didn't use just any filling. We used grade polyester with a blow-in technique to create a down alternative feel. Each square is like an overfilled, squishy plush stuffed animal. We then coupled this thick, high-quality filling with an outer ultra-cozy plush that has a hand feel like petting the fluffiest cloud or a cuddly dog that had one too many meals. And that takes us full circle to the real naming inspiration, which originated three years ago from a dog video that became an internet meme. Emily Flowers, a coma-inducer super fan, won the naming challenge for this thickest of coma inducers with her name suggestion: Dam boi he thick. There were a lot of "normal" - sounding names suggested, but when put to a vote, customers agreed that for a coma inducer like this special, it needed an equally attention-grabbing name.
