I don’t now if my pictures fully show, but it almost shows a bit on the blue side. Especially in the lighter gray spots. The opposite side is a solid velvet-y material in a slightly warmer gray that slightly contrasts the slightly blue-ish black on the fur side. I washed and dried it and found very little in the lint dispenser, the blanket remained thick, fluffy and very soft. Very happy with this purchase. UPDATE I am pleased to say that I am happier now with this blanket than I was when I first bought. It is a polyester blanket but it doesn’t make you sweaty.
