While this is a very nice Chenille Chaise Lounge, it is not an oversized chair. It looks wide because it has white arms. The sitting area is that of a normal chair. The inside had a hole in the seating where the cushions goes from a while in the box when I received i but nothing major. I put it together all by myself and have gotten lots of compliments about it.
