We love this lamp. It was immediately apparent that it was of a much higher quality than similar, cheaper lamps, and very much worth the price. Attaching the post to the base was a challenge. The included wrench was nice, but awkward given the limited angle afforded by the base. I had a very hard time getting the post tight and perpendicular to the base. My rating is really a 4+.This lamp was just what I had been looking for. I was concerned that it might not be wide enough to go from behind the chairs to the center of my dining table, but it’s perfect! (The table shown is 56 inches in diameter.)The only reason it’s not 5 stars is that assembling it alone was challenging. You will need a step stool or ladder. At first I thought some of the screws were missing, but most of them are already in place and you just have to tighten them. (The tiny ones in the bag are extras.)
