This is a great gadget for that rarely used cabinet space above the refrigerator. While you can't fit as much on the racks as you would in the bare cabinet, it's the accessibility that makes it worthwhile. Also consider that what you store must be somewhat lightweight or it won't function. I used it in a rental property for melamine dinnerware so renters won't take the good dishes outside. This slim shelf perfectly fit into a 7.5” gap I had in my closet. . I would estimate assembly takes 2-3 hours between 2 people. Very good quality. Assembly was a bit challenging and took me several hours. There are cam locks included to make connections secure and those took a while to figure out. I also had to buy a stubby Philips head screwdriver to fit into the space between shelves to tighten the cam locks. It all came together though and it’s exactly what I needed.
