This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. This is a beautiful bathtub. The price is awesome for what you get. I love the shape as it is soft in a very square area in our bathroom. It’s super deep and the husband and I can both fit in it well. It does have a bit of a narrow center so it’s a little tight in the middle with both of us in there, but still plenty of room. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. Great tub, very wide for big shoulders but also doesn’t require a ton of water. Only reason I can’t give it 5 stars is the OEM overflow drain kit is very fragile and not easy to replicate with warehouse parts. You need to be able to tighten the threads securely and not have the thin PVC snap off!! Just plan on upgrading overflow drain kit for $39 from the get go a you’ll be satisfied with the tub! This is a beautiful bathtub! I was quite surprised with how quickly it arrived. Packaged in a very heavy wooden box on a skid. It’s elegantly built, and very deep to sit in. Great size and very comfy for those who like to take long baths. Unlike most freestanding tubs that have straight sides, the back of this tub has a slant making it very confortable to recline back. Bright white with a very glossy finish....very pretty. I gave it 4 stars only because when my plumber installed, it had 2 flex tubes at the bottom. My plumber hooked up the main tube to the ptrap, and drain perfectly, yet there was another flex tube that he could not figure out where to go with....it was for the overflow. He ended up removing it and capping and sealing it off, as it was designed to drain to the same drain as the other, so no sure why two separate tubes were there. When I called and emailed the manufacturer, I got an email with the manual, which did not help since we already referred to the manual. In any case, my plumber resolved the issue, and it drains fine. We rec’d our tub but haven’t installed it yet so review is based on size and appearance. A round tub is unique and the size seems perfect. I originally ordered a 51 inch which was too big then got a 45 that was too small. The 49 inch doesn’t sound much smaller compared to the 51 inch but it made a huge difference in our space. Can extend my legs which I couldn’t do with the 45 inch. The tub seems sturdy. It’s a matte white so if you want one that’s a bright shiny white this isn’t the tub for you. One drawback is the material seems like it could easily show marks so be careful moving it around. Had to hire movers to get it upstairs (it’s heavy!) and the tub rubbed against the shipping crate when they were getting it out. Sure enough there was scrape on tub where it hit the crate.
