Oval Mahogany Partners Desk

One of the most complicated items that we produce at Niagara furniture our Oval Partners Desk is also one of the most popular. The top section of the desk consists of a three-paneled writing surfaces of brown full grain genuine leather which feature antique style gold tooling and three drawers on each side. The drawers are built using dovetailed construction for strength and they are beautifully decorated with figural mahogany surrounded by string inlay and sapele mahogany. Each pedestal bank of the desk contains six more drawers and the side section of the desk also features wonderful figural mahogany veneers. A great quality piece that can be easily shipped and installed due to it’s ingenious three part construction.

This is a traditional mahogany partners' desk inspired by partners' desks from the early 1800s. It features swirly crotch mahogany doors, drawers, and side panels. Each side has a file drawer on the right and a storage cabinet with an adjustable shelf on the left. Each side has lockable drawers/doors. The drawers are dovetailed. The desk features a mildly distressed and tooled leather top. The hardware is solid brass.

Kidney-shaped desk with gilt-tooled black leather top.  A high-end antique reproduction with variegated walnut cross-banded raised panels, solid oak drawers, and black leather inset top.  This kidney desk sits on two pedestal cabinets and a privacy panel. The generous privacy panel features a removable rear panel, revealing a storage area suitable for a large surge protector or monitor lift. The top of the desk has a large hinged trap door with a half-moon cutout for cable management. The desk has graduated drawers on the left, two pencil drawers, and a large storage area on the right.  The doors and drawers feature finely decorated brass pulls, which were crafted using traditional lost-wax casting techniques.  The desk is a medium golden brown, which coordinates well with walnut and mahogany. The lightly distressed finish on this desk is the result of a meticulous, multi-step process that creates a warm, patina-rich appearance resembling a period piece.  The finish is forgiving, easy to touch up, and suitable for active families.   The glazed black leather top has warm undertones and gilt tooling. Inside the privacy panel, we've included and attached a removable solid wood mounting block, which has been sized and designed to accept a Nexus 21 Model L-23 monitor lift. The NEXUS lift is NOT included in this item.

This is Leighton Hall’s Largest Traditional Mahogany Executive Desk. It features a mildly distressed brown leather top with gold tooling, swirly crotch mahogany panels on the front, sides and drawer fronts, dovetailed drawers, solid brass hardware, intricate fretwork on the corners with carved medallions, two file drawers, and a hand steel wool rubbed satin finish.

This is an oval mahogany double pedestal dining table made to order. It features a field of swirly crotch mahogany with a straight-grain mahogany border. The pedestals have fluted legs that terminate with antique brass lion paw feet. This finish is medium brown mahogany with a hand-rubbed and polished semi-gloss sheen.

Inspired by the tropical craftsmanship of the West Indies and classic British and Dutch colonial design periods, the Charleston writing desk has a timeless kidney shape, stretchers, rattan drawer fronts, intricately carved leaf motifs on the legs, and a robust leather writing surface top. Crafted of cherry veneers, rattan, and resin, it is finished in the deep, rich Maraschino cherry. There are five drawers. The left and right top drawers have one removable partition, one writing slide, and a pencil tray for use in either drawer. The center drawer has a drop-front for keyboard use. Antique bronze round knobs and ring-pull hardware add the finishing touch.

Very expensive desk/ took FOREVER to get in. Quality is mediocre. Had many cracks in the wood and splits beyond the “distressed look” described. Also had a moldy looking dust. The drawer was a different color than the desk and brass was gold not aged bronze as shown. Definitely looks like an inexpensive important from Mexico- as apposed to a high- end solid wood desk. Not work $3000 although Wayfair did the right thing and compensated to have the desk repair. Overall would not recommend for the price Again- love Wayfair for ease and time but quality control feels like the products are @seconds” and shipping is almost always an issue. S. AL.
