So happy with this table! I put it together by myself in just over an hour, but the table top is very heavy, so some may need help lifting it onto the base. One thing to note- there’s no built in storage for the extensions- my last extendable dining table had that so I was a little surprised even though it would be nearly impossible with the shape. It’s a cute table! The expansion is really easy and the color is just as it looks in photos when in natural light (my photos are under artificial light though). I had very specific criteria I was looking for in an everyday table. I wanted a pedestal base, an oval or round top with a leaf, cream/off-white with a dark wood top. it either had to match my existing chairs or have chairs without fabric. I also had a budget in mind. I know I'm extremely picky. I have been looking on and off for the right table for almost 4 years. Even after I order the table I texted my husband and said I'm probably going to hate it. I ordered it on a Thursday and it arrived unexpectedly early on Saturday morning and we put it together easily. 2 bolts per foot and 4 bolts for the top. nothing was damaged in shipping and the table is an almost perfect match to the existing pieces in the room. The base is a little more on the white/gray side then cream but in the shade of the table its not noticeable. We will most likely always have the leaf in but the mechanism worked fine and everything fit together well and it feels sturdy. The bulkier they are the less likely you can fit more than 4.)You can sit at the end of the table which was a concern as a lot double pedestal designs don’t leave enough space. (image attached of our chair at the end). The legs of the table arrived slightly damaged but we are not sure if it was during wayfair’s assembly or from the manufacturer. Absolutely beautiful and and easy to put together. My one complaint would be that though the top IS solid wood, I was disappointed to find it still had a laminate over it. Any scratch to the surface and it will bubble if it gets wet and that will eventually ruin the surface. Nice compact table, seats four and a snug six (small kitchen). Colour is a little odd, more brown than the photos. Makes it hard to match with chairs, but I like an eclectic style.
