My fountain was easily assembled however the problem I discovered was that in order to use the light, I needed two outlets and I already was using one for my patio lights. So I plugged the light to the fountain into the automatic timer and it comes on now when my outside lights do. It works perfectly and l’m pleased. The sound was very important to me because I’ve had fountains before that made a hollow sound and not very relaxing, this one is soothing as it cascades over the rippled edges and doesn’t splash outside the fountain.. This turned out beautifully but was not easy to assemble. The directions were terrible and feel incomplete. My husband had to spend a whole day and hire a handyman to help him install it. There are some videos online from Aquascape that helped but those were not easy to find either. Make sure you have two people and a lot of patience. Perfect! Simple to set up and does t require refilling with water very often. Versatile and easy to move. So much better than fountains that have a big reservoir you have to sink into the ground or build around to hide the reservoir, this fountain doesn’t need a separate reservoir.
